Sorry to post another journal again so soon, but I've realized something that I hate even more than anything else in the world (aside from children and war); the Imperial System of Measurement. It came to me when I was weighing myself on the scale, when suddenly I found myself wondering what my mass was. I took a moment to try and calculate it in my head, when I realized the scale was obviously in pounds. FFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUU... The whole system is pretty much just a reminder of how we were once England's bitch (though it would have been nice if England had more time to rub off on America) and how most of the nation is too fucking stubborn to make a big change for an even bigger, better outcome; nothing will be lost in translation, there will be no more botched satellites, some guy wouldn't have to deal with moving to England and using a dating service only to find out that his date is 115kg instead of 115lbs. America needs to man up and convert to metric. I want to see that in my lifetime. I would be more than happy to protest/riot for it. There are bound to be rednecks trying to stop the change.
